Community means a lot to us. We provide our employees with the tools and information they need to make a real difference out there.
Our Culture: Community
Reaching out and giving back
Community Connection
Our employees connect with their communities through
- the Employee Volunteer Program
- the Employees Assisting Charities program
- fundraising events for organizations such as the United Way and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
- Food Bank donations
- adopting families for the Christmas holiday season to provide meals and gifts
- special community events such as the Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada Unity fun day
Boys & Girls Clubs
We also have a long-standing national partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada that has led to the implementation of two great programs:
- the Power Up! Program
- the STE(A)M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) Program
These programs help foster a positive attitude toward education and lifelong learning, and they’ve enhanced the lives of thousands of students.
We also host about 500 Boys and Girls Club members from the Greater Toronto Area at professional sporting events and trips to Canada’s Wonderland every year.
